About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide support to the operational unit by facilitating safe approaches associated with installation, repair & maintenance tasks relative to all types of control, measurement, instrumentation, and electrical components.
  • Implements safe work practices and a proactive safety culture while ensuring safety for the employee, the public, and the environment always.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and record keeping requirements are met and continually monitored.
  • Have a basic understanding of the following (or possess the aptitude necessary to learn within the first year of employment) necessary to install, repair & maintain: Dehy, Amine, Compressor Plant Power, and control systems.
  • Pipeline Compression Station and Emergency valve Communications, Power, and controls.
  • Electronic flow meters (orifice, Mag, Turbine, and ultra-sonic measurement) and relative equipment.
  • Pressure, flow, level, and temperature indicating equipment.
  • Compressor and PDC building safety equipment (fire and gas sensing equipment).
  • Programmable logic Controllers.
  • Ignition and SCADA systems.
  • Gas chromatograph, Moisture, H2S, O2 and CO2 analyzing equipment.
  • Remote valve controls and logic.
  • Rebuild control valves, regulators and XV actuators.
  • H2S scavenger equipment.
  • Uninterruptible power-supply systems.
  • Fiber and cellular communications and networking.
  • Emergency generator controls.
  • Heat Trace Systems.
  • RO systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years of job-related experience
  • Possess & maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Obtain all beginning PSM, CBT and OQ tasks within 6 months
  • Emergency Response base level understanding
  • Excellent vehicle driving record
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication, problem solving, and physical perceptive skills
  • Must be able to work and perform without close supervision
  • Team player
