About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise production associates performing loading and unloading of freight
- Account for materials using multiple systems
- Oversee assembly and installation of server racks and components
- Organize and coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns
- Ensure adequate safety measures protect personnel and property
- Advise subordinates on questions or problems related to work activities
- Monitor work and production areas for accuracy, neatness, and policy compliance
- Recommend and implement documented procedure changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Perform or assist subordinates with their duties
- Use internal and external systems and dashboards to ensure process compliance and accuracy
- Maintain service level agreements using existing systems and tools
- Ensure subordinates follow safety protocols and standards
- Frequently interact with customers, peers, site stakeholders, and subordinates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
- Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol tests
- Solid interpersonal and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
- Generally preferred: 3–6 years’ experience in material handling operations
- Must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
