About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide overall direction and guidance to the organization's procurement activities
- Provide strategic leadership and management for individuals supporting procurement projects, programs, and systems
- Support company growth, savings, and transformational initiatives
- Develop departmental strategies aligned with enterprise targets
- Ensure targets and operational needs are met
- Ensure operational excellence through standardization, risk assessment, and review of key metrics
- Oversee multiple request-for-quote/request-for-proposal projects simultaneously
- Monitor category spending and recommend new cost-saving projects
- Provide final negotiation support for new contracts
- Oversee transition and rollout of executed agreements, contracts, MSAs, and programs to operational or functional support leaders
- Develop KPIs and OKRs to track compliance with procurement initiatives
- Lead talent selection and development initiatives and foster associate engagement
- Work within a complex matrixed environment
- Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Sales, and Finance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Logistics, or equivalent fields is required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience
- Minimum of 3 years leading large programs and/or teams in a matrixed environment
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate as required
Benefits
Comp & perks- Base pay range of $103,000.00–$103,000.00 annually
