About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide overall direction and guidance to the organization's procurement activities
Provide strategic leadership and management for individuals supporting procurement projects, programs, and systems
Support company growth, savings, and transformational initiatives
Develop departmental strategies aligned with enterprise targets
Ensure targets and operational needs are met
Ensure operational excellence through standardization, risk assessment, and review of key metrics
Oversee multiple request-for-quote/request-for-proposal projects simultaneously
Monitor category spending and recommend new cost-saving projects
Provide final negotiation support for new contracts
Oversee transition and rollout of executed agreements, contracts, MSAs, and programs to operational or functional support leaders
Develop KPIs and OKRs to track compliance with procurement initiatives
Lead talent selection and development initiatives and foster associate engagement
Work within a complex matrixed environment
Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Sales, and Finance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Logistics, or equivalent fields is required
Minimum of 7 years of experience
Minimum of 3 years leading large programs and/or teams in a matrixed environment
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate as required
