About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
Handle customer material movement requests
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities, and condition
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems
Place server racks on the data-center floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
Clean the work area to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
Adhere daily to safety and process procedures
Interact with customers and other stakeholders on site at the data center
Make confident decisions based on information and data to meet production goals effectively, accurately, and efficiently
Flexibly cross-train in multiple departments within the data center

Requirements

What you’ll need

Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and good analytical skills
Experience with computers
Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
1–3 years of related experience required
Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
Ability to work the E shift, Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m.
Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
