About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
- Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking accurate part numbers, quantities, and material condition
- Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
- Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Maintain work-area safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
- Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Provide effective material orders, customer service, inventory management, and customer material movement support
- Cross-train and work flexibly across multiple datacenter departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of related experience
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and analytical skills for confident, accurate, and efficient decision-making
- Experience with computers
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
- Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must pass applicable federal, state, or local government, airport, or company-required background checks and clearances
- Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Ability to be flexible and cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
