About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers, quantities, and material condition
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks according to diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
  • Maintain work-area safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
  • Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Provide material orders, customer service, inventory management, and customer material movement support
  • Interact with customers and other stakeholders on site and build positive working relationships
  • Make confident decisions using information and data to meet production goals accurately and efficiently
  • Adhere daily to safety and process procedures; maintain punctuality, reliability, quality focus, and flexibility for cross-training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of related experience required
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical-thinking and analytical skills for decision-making based on information and data
  • Experience with computers required
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static-discharge hazards and protocols required
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
  • Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
  • Ability to maintain safety, process adherence, punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and quality
  • Ability to be flexible and cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, laser measuring devices, and warehouse management systems
  • Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
