About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management
  • Handle customer material movement requests
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, including part numbers, quantities, and material condition
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
  • Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy
  • Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Perform cleanup activities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards
  • Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Adhere daily to safety and process procedures
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and quality
  • Remain flexible and cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
  • Interact with customers and stakeholders at the datacenter and build positive working relationships
  • Use critical thinking and analytical skills to make confident decisions that meet production goals effectively, accurately, and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of related experience required
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and good analytical skills
  • Experience with computers required
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols required
  • Ability to assemble and install servers and electronic components
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and laser measuring devices
  • Ability to follow diagrams and schematics
  • Ability to operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass applicable federal, state, local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
