About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight, including shipping documents and records
  • Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight for accurate part numbers, quantities, and material condition
  • Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts at the datacenter
  • Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems
  • Oversee and perform server rack placement on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
  • Oversee and perform electronic component population and cabling installation in server racks using diagrams and schematics
  • Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
  • Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
  • Perform and oversee cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards
  • Push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Delegate and coach team members while supporting cross-training and production goals
  • Interact regularly with datacenter customers and stakeholders and build positive working relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of related experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with computers required
  • Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols required
  • Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must pass required federal, state, local government, airport, or company background checks and clearances
  • Must pass required drug and alcohol tests
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to maintain safety and process procedures
