About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform transaction and customer screening against various sanction lists
- Communicate effectively with business partners
- Review systems and available data and conduct investigations of high-risk transactions
- Work as part of the team to ensure day-to-day activities are fulfilled
- Work under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality and competency
- Update records with relevant information accurately and in a timely manner
- Operate in line with relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures
- Escalate concerns to the line manager appropriately and in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
- Work experience in export controls and sanctions is an advantage
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with management and other internal parties
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Process-oriented, organised, and structured way of working
- Proactive, goal-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills, tactfulness, and diplomacy
- Good IT skills
