About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the overall safety and security of assigned facility, operations, and staff for the site.
Maintain positive IFR statistics and other safety metrics for assigned location/operations.
Ensure compliance with the standards outlined in the DSV Safety Programs Policies and Procedures and the related site and client specific Standard Operation Procedures.
Establish HSE goals that are consistent with corporate polices and aligned with the corporate and site vision.
Implement effective systems to comply with all applicable HSE laws and regulations.
Communicate site HSE goals, action plans, and results to the organization.
Review and develop HSE policies and procedures on an annual basis in keeping with best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
Prior experience in safety observations/inspections, developing and implementing compliance strategies and plans
Knowledge of safety and health management systems and practices.
Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point)
RF Scanners WMS functions
English (reading, writing, verbal)
