About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the timely receiving, dispatching, control, and visibility of materials received into the KIC and North Slope sites for final delivery across the East – West ice Road.
- Actively promote a culture of health and safety and participate in safety reviews and progress meetings.
- Daily communication & coordination with the LMS Traffic & Logistics Specialist in Anchorage on the anticipated arrival of trucks.
- Meet truck drivers arriving on site and collect paperwork.
- Undertake periodical stock takes (scanning) to update locations of materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in project management or logistics
- Experience working in a transportation and logistics environment is preferred
- Familiar in working on the ground coordinating and troubleshooting the receiving or loading of transport assets
- Strong project management skills with experience in planning, executing, and evaluating projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
