About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate complex daily dispatch activities for company drivers, contractors, and partner carriers
Manage assigned customer accounts and transportation activities to ensure customer expectations are achieved
Evaluate transportation requirements and manage high-priority, time-sensitive freight movements
Schedule and communicate pickup and delivery expectations with various stakeholders
Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customers and build positive business relationships
Utilize transportation management systems and maintain accurate shipment records
Monitor transportation activities to support compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
3 to 5 years of experience in truck dispatch, transportation operations, or logistics coordination required
Advanced knowledge of truck dispatch and transportation operations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance
Experience utilizing transportation management systems (TMS) and dispatch software
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong English language skills; Spanish is a plus
