About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the effective use, support, and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System within daily operations
Act as the link between warehouse operations, IT teams, and management
Ensure smooth system performance, provides end-user support and training, and participates in system upgrades or process improvement initiatives
Execute System Driven Warehouse activities to ensure maximum productivity and work load balancing
Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse staff on WMS-related issues
Monitor system performance and ensure transactions are processed correctly
Troubleshoot errors and escalate unresolved issues to the WMS/IT support team
Test new functionalities, upgrades, or patches before deployment
Manage UAT for system updates and changes
Ensure accuracy of master data (SKU setup, bin locations, stock attributes)
Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock adjustments, and reconciliation
Validate inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse transactions in the system
Report system or process anomalies to management
Train and guide warehouse staff on WMS processes and best practices
Update and maintain user manuals and process documentation
Act as a subject matter expert during audits and compliance checks
Analyze daily operations for process bottlenecks or system inefficiencies
Suggest improvements in workflows and system usage
Support new project rollouts, WMS implementations, and integrations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Grade 12
Intermediate computer literacy level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Logistics/ supply chain/ warehousing or likely Business
At least 1–2 years in a system super-user, key-user, or system support role
Proven experience in system rollouts, UAT, or training
Excellent written & verbal communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills & able to work in a collaborative & team-based environment
Aptitude to multi-task & employ effective problem solving abilities
Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Controller, or System Super User is preferred
Knowledge of lean warehousing principles and process automation
Hands-on Experience of WMS software (Blue Yonder, Dispatcher, JDA, Red Prairie)
Good grasp of warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, inventory management, picking, put-away, shipping
Ability to run system queries, reports, and basic troubleshooting
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Data analysis (inventory accuracy, productivity KPIs)
Root cause analysis for system or process failures
Ability to train staff at all levels
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Act as liaison between warehouse staff, management, and IT teams
Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
