About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop and maintain complex, business-critical application and system components, Kotlin
  • Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from requirements analysis to implementation and production support
  • Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, including root-cause analysis
  • Support technical design decisions with focus on scalability, performance, security and maintainability
  • Review code and architecture to ensure quality, consistency and best practice standards
  • Identify technical debt, risks and improvement opportunities, and actively drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, operations and other IT teams
  • Mentor and support junior developers through coaching, code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge bases and operational runbooks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Solid experience in software development and maintenance of business applications
  • At least 3 years of experience with IT service management and incident management, preferably in a logistics environment
  • Experience working in Agile teams; DevOps experience will be an advantage
  • Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Good understanding of business and IT processes
  • Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
