About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop and maintain complex, business-critical application and system components, Kotlin
- Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from requirements analysis to implementation and production support
- Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, including root-cause analysis
- Support technical design decisions with focus on scalability, performance, security and maintainability
- Review code and architecture to ensure quality, consistency and best practice standards
- Identify technical debt, risks and improvement opportunities, and actively drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, operations and other IT teams
- Mentor and support junior developers through coaching, code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge bases and operational runbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related field
- Solid experience in software development and maintenance of business applications
- At least 3 years of experience with IT service management and incident management, preferably in a logistics environment
- Experience working in Agile teams; DevOps experience will be an advantage
- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable solutions
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Good understanding of business and IT processes
- Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
