About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor warehouse inventory
Manage warehouse staff to ensure accurate and efficient storage and shipping of products
Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics
Supervise and direct warehouse staff; prioritize worker safety
Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products
Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning
Supervise all forklift operations
Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks
Assist in the hiring and training process of new warehouse staff
Constantly work to improve processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Previous warehouse experience is required
Supervisory and Team Leader skills with the ability to motivate, develop and supervise others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
Proficient understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
Previous planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail skills
Analytical and numerical
Strong decision-making skills
Certified in: Dangerous Goods Handling
