About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Scheduling and dispatching of pickup and delivery routes (LTL / partial & full loads)
- Route optimization with respect to cost, efficiency and service
- Daily communication with drivers, partners and internal departments
- Recording and maintaining shipment data in the TMS
- Customer support for pickups, deliveries and shipment status
- Handling deviations, claims and special requests
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., dangerous goods, driving and rest time regulations)
- Checking proof-of-delivery documents and supporting billing/settlement
- Contributing to process optimizations in the Collection & Distribution area
Requirements
What you’ll need- Vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or equivalent
- Experience in dispatching or operational road transport handling
- Proficient in TMS and MS Office
- Strong communication skills, organized, resilient and team-oriented
