About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and motivate a team of around 35 employees on the night shift
Responsible for staff deployment and vacation planning
Plan, control and monitor the operational processes in the terminal handling warehouse
Ensure a smooth flow of information between shifts
Coordinate the correct loading and unloading of piece-goods shipments
Maintain quality standards through the use of modern technologies
Responsible for cargo securing and occupational safety at the terminal

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in a freight forwarding, transshipment or logistics environment
Initial supervisory experience
Structured and solution-oriented working style
Strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communication skills
Composure and assertiveness
Willingness to work permanently on the night shift (Tuesday to Saturday between 22:00 and 09:00)
