About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and motivate a team of around 35 employees on the night shift
  • Responsible for staff deployment and vacation planning
  • Plan, control and monitor the operational processes in the terminal handling warehouse
  • Ensure a smooth flow of information between shifts
  • Coordinate the correct loading and unloading of piece-goods shipments
  • Maintain quality standards through the use of modern technologies
  • Responsible for cargo securing and occupational safety at the terminal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a freight forwarding, transshipment or logistics environment
  • Initial supervisory experience
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Composure and assertiveness
  • Willingness to work permanently on the night shift (Tuesday to Saturday between 22:00 and 09:00)
