About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create, coordinate and complete shipments of goods between company and clients
- Coordinate with off-site logistics locations, suppliers, and vendors to meet deadlines and track all shipments
- Process orders and ensure shipment schedules are met
- Develop and maintain operational reports and complete shipments of goods
- Act as a point of contact for customer service
- Ensure completion, accuracy, and delivery of transactions for clients
- Dispatch requests to transportation providers
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination
- Efficiently stage, stack, and load the merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Ensure that the trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering the trailer
- Load/Unload product correctly using the appropriate handling techniques
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in customer service and logistics
- Forklift experience
- Material Handling Certification
- Dangerous Goods Qualification
- Forklift Operation and Certification
- Some experience with Warehouse Management Systems
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications
- Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal)
