About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage a culture of safety throughout the campus by educating and influencing leaders
- Provide management support in planning, development, delivering and evaluation of safety policies, programs and training
- Oversee accident investigations and maintain record keeping
- Conduct and facilitate monthly safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State OSHA rules and regulations
- Work closely with supervisors and managers to ensure employee compliance with HSE Policies and Procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years related experience and/or training directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Prior experience in safety observations/inspections, developing and implementing compliance strategies and plans.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other federal safety standards, principles, practices and techniques.
