About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Engage a culture of safety throughout the campus by educating and influencing leaders
  • Provide management support in planning, development, delivering and evaluation of safety policies, programs and training
  • Oversee accident investigations and maintain record keeping
  • Conduct and facilitate monthly safety meetings
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State OSHA rules and regulations
  • Work closely with supervisors and managers to ensure employee compliance with HSE Policies and Procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years related experience and/or training directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Prior experience in safety observations/inspections, developing and implementing compliance strategies and plans.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other federal safety standards, principles, practices and techniques.
