About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide day-to-day operational leadership within the freight brokerage function.
Direct and coordinate the work of Account Managers and Carrier Sales Representatives to ensure timely, cost-effective, and customer-compliant shipment execution.
Act as a point of escalation for shipment exceptions and coordinate corrective actions with leadership.
Monitor shipment execution, documentation accuracy, and system data integrity.
Negotiate carrier rates and assist in resolving issues related to delays, damages, and service discrepancies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight brokerage, transportation operations, or logistics.
Experience coordinating freight operations and supporting customer and carrier relationships in a brokerage environment.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and brokerage-related software platforms.
Strong understanding of domestic freight operations, carrier sourcing, pricing, and service execution.
