About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Delivering agreed revenue and profitability targets within the Consumer & Retail sector.
Developing and executing targeted business development strategies aligned to DSV's commercial objectives.
Building, managing, and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Developing relationships with senior decision-makers across Retail, Consumer Goods, FMCG, Fashion, Lifestyle, and E-Commerce organisations.
Leading customer engagement, opportunity qualification, solution development, tender management, and contract negotiations.
Managing strategic opportunities from prospect identification through to implementation handover.
Coordinating tender responses, RFIs, RFPs, and commercial submissions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop compelling customer solutions.
Representing DSV at industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
Maintaining accurate pipeline and opportunity reporting through CRM systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A successful track record in business development, contract logistics, or supply chain solutions sales.
Demonstrated success in securing significant new business contracts within Consumer & Retail markets.
Experience leading complex tenders, RFIs, and RFPs.
Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
A consultative and customer-focused sales approach.
Strong presentation and communication skills, including engagement with Director and C-Suite stakeholders.
The ability to navigate and influence within a matrix organisation.
Graduate-level education or equivalent industry experience.
