About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for day-to-day site operations, including supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product
Planning of inbound and outbound volume and customer communication activities
Hiring and training staff and conducting performance appraisals
Driving company Continuous Improvement efforts
Managing inventory and client specified KPI’s
Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality principles
Managing existing programs for maintaining sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, safety, and equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
Demonstrated proficiency in knowledge of applicable WMS systems
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner
Good organizational and personnel skills
Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation
