About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the transportation and logistics department's daily operations to ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Monitor transportation and logistics performance metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Conduct regular audits of transportation and logistics processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on transportation and logistics activities to management.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation and logistics operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor's degree in transportation and logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics management is required.
  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry is preferred.
  • Certification in transportation and logistics, such as Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) is preferred.
  • Experience with transportation management software (TMS) is preferred.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
