About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of the long-term strategy for project logistics in Australia, aligning with global and regional vertical leads
- Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities with key clients in all project related sectors
- Leverage DSV's global network and regional teams to identify cross-border opportunities and provide integrated solutions to our customers
- Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in line with DSV policies, ethical standards, and relevant Australian laws and regulations
- Track and report on key commercial KPI's including revenue, quote-to-win ratios, pipeline conversion, and profitability by account
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding or a related commercial management role
- Adopt a customer-first approach, prioritizing customer needs and expectations in all operations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering reliable, timely, and cost effective freight solutions
- Consistently achieving best performance, driving commercial excellence and meeting or exceeding KPI's
- Demonstrate effective leadership by guiding, mentoring, and supporting team members, inspiring them to achieve their best performance
- Client relation and retention- Strengthen long term partnerships with key accounts through effective relationship management
