About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications using cloud and legacy technologies
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices
- Maintain and enhance existing legacy applications to ensure business continuity
- Participate in application modernization and cloud migration projects
- Perform unit testing and support integration, system, and user acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with Solution Managers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Infrastructure teams
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and operational procedures
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in software development
- Strong programming experience in one or more languages, especially Java
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Knowledge of cloud-native development, containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API development
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other version control and CI/CD tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Knowledge of secure software development practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent programming and debugging capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to software quality
- Adaptability to both modern cloud technologies and legacy application environments
