About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Analyze business and technical requirements to determine automation opportunities
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results
- Create and maintain test data and testing environments
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues
- Integrate automated testing into deployment processes
- Perform API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Support manual testing activities when required
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#)
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Adaptability to changing technologies and business requirements
- Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
