About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead operations in areas of injury prevention, task assessment, safety communications, hazardous materials storage and transportation compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and manage company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local Health, Safety & Environmental regulations.
  • Conduct HSE audits and assessments of ongoing operations.
  • Provide training and coaching to local Health & Safety Managers.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a medium to large warehouse in a HSE management capacity supervising 5 or more associates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of current EPA and DOT regulations including HAZWOPER and Hazard Communication.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Applications.
  • Bilingual (Preferred).
