Key responsibilities & impact

The General Manager of operations is a highly visible leadership role.
This individual is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operation, compliance, and financial results for a designated operation.
The General Manager (“GM”) will serve as a primary customer interface for all leadership decisions regarding proposal approval and contract negotiations.
The GM will also develop marketing plans and assist in growing new business.
He/she will also ensure that the operation adheres to the overall corporate mission, vision, and core values while consistently meeting client and company expectations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED is required
Budgeting and P&L management experience required
At least 3 years of experience in an operations management related position
Basic understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
Strong proficiency in basic MS Office applications
Advanced level expertise required in accounting and financial mathematical applications as related to managing a P&L and preparing site/operational budgets
The ability to develop effective relationships (CRM), provide leadership, and integrate diverse organizations and individuals toward unifying objectives is critical.
Prefer 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in a logistics/distribution/supply chain environment in an operations management capacity.
4-Year College Degree preferred, will consider equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
