About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assists in monitoring, inspecting, and proposing measures to correct or improve the organization’s final product.
  • Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Performing routine and detailed inspections of final products to ensure they are up to industry and company standards.
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards and safety regulations are observed.
  • Monitors and maintains aircraft records to include logbooks, FAA Form 337’s, ICA’s, Etc.
  • Inspects all aircraft parts for damage, prior to installation.
  • Works effectively with engineering and directors in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
  • Document quality assurance activities and create reports.
  • Working according to deadlines for delivery of the customers products.
  • Prompt and regular attendance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
  • Inspection Authorization.
  • Minimum Five (5) years’ of aircraft-related experience or have demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform all job tasks.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ of Managerial or Lead experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
  • Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations, IPM and ATA codes.
  • One (1) to Two (2) years experience in a 145 Repair Station preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain a passport.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance.
  • Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
