About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of talented engineers to scale our platform and drive it to new heights of performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with Product Manager and Architect to ensure platform design and architecture adhere to the highest engineering standards.
Oversee the development and maintenance of the Dropsuite platform, ensuring it meets high-quality standards for performance and scalability.
Conduct thorough design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to Dropsuite's code standards and best practices.
Drive innovation by introducing new ideas and conducting PoC to enhance the functionality and performance of Dropsuite’s backup engine platform.
Create detailed project plans, provide accurate estimations, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
Strong knowledge on Software Design patterns and principles
Various API Architecture styles especially RESTful and GraphQL would be additional advantage.
2+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams of 5 or more
Experience with big data and large-scale applications is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience using Jira (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience working in global, cross-functional teams is an advantage
Proven ability to serve as both a hands-on developer and an effective people leader
Proficient in project management and team coordination.
