Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide advice to employees on individual employment law — by phone, in writing and digitally
  • Attend and represent at court hearings
  • Draft pleadings and out-of-court correspondence
  • Independently manage cases and serve as the direct point of contact for clients
  • Get up to speed on new matters and communicate clearly and in a structured manner
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of firm processes
  • Work on projects promoting employees' rights
  • Help shape modern, digital, and practice-oriented employment law services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Initial professional experience (at least 6 months) in employment law, advising employees and/or employers
  • Qualified lawyer or admitted attorney
  • Strong interest in employment law topics and developments
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
  • Attention to detail, self-reliance and high standards for your own work
  • Willingness to handle cases independently
  • Strong communication skills and negotiating ability in client interactions
  • Experience or interest in improving digital law firm processes
  • Confidence working in digital environments, e.g., cloud tools, automations and case management systems
  • Structured working style, good time management and solution-oriented thinking
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
