About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide advice to employees on individual employment law — by phone, in writing and digitally
Attend and represent at court hearings
Draft pleadings and out-of-court correspondence
Independently manage cases and serve as the direct point of contact for clients
Get up to speed on new matters and communicate clearly and in a structured manner
Contribute to the ongoing development of firm processes
Work on projects promoting employees' rights
Help shape modern, digital, and practice-oriented employment law services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Initial professional experience (at least 6 months) in employment law, advising employees and/or employers
Qualified lawyer or admitted attorney
Strong interest in employment law topics and developments
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
Attention to detail, self-reliance and high standards for your own work
Willingness to handle cases independently
Strong communication skills and negotiating ability in client interactions
Experience or interest in improving digital law firm processes
Confidence working in digital environments, e.g., cloud tools, automations and case management systems
Structured working style, good time management and solution-oriented thinking
Willingness to take on responsibility
