Senior Application Engineer – South America

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide metallurgical and mineral processing expertise to customer-facing team for implementing GLT processes.
- Support business development efforts for prospective adoption of GLT technologies.
- Serve as principal contact between the customer-facing team and final customer.
- Assist customers in implementing and delivering GlyCat technology.
- Provide necessary technical support for development and rollout.
- Identify and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's and preferably master’s Level qualification in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish and ideally in English.
- Ability to travel internationally for business (up to 50% of workable days per year).
- Must have the appropriate working rights in Peru.
- Must know how to provide technical support for new leaching technologies in the sales business.
- Deep understanding of industrial metals recovery processes and metallurgy of metals.
- At least 10+ years of relevant post-graduate full-time work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an operational role on a gold mine site and preferably 3+ years in a metallurgical Laboratory.
