About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in international ERP projects to implement and expand solutions
- Translate functional specifications into robust technical solutions
- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable COBOL code
- Apply software engineering principles to ensure quality and performance
- Conduct white box testing and support integration testing with business units
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs effectively
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineer Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Informatics with minimum 3 years of experience
- Programming skills in COBOL or any other procedural programming language
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and relational/index-sequential databases
- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Understanding of Supply Chain Management processes
- Familiarity with Eclipse toolkit
- Proficiency in version control tools (SVN, GIT)
- Knowledge of Agile methods (Scrum)
- Excellent command of English
