Industrial Engineer – Equipment Coordination

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Planning and realization of standard equipments for existing and new products
- Act as an intermediate person between involved internal / external positions in equipment topic (e.g. project managers, suppliers, departments, etc.)
- Analyze and evaluate internal / external changes, and participate in internal negotiations (e.g. scope / costs of changes, etc.) and ensure the implementation
- Participate in the development of process and equipment standards and improvement concepts in cooperation with the responsible central units
- Clarify technical requirements and preliminary design of equipment in coordination with the involved and carry out feasibility studies
- Creation of calculations (e.g. for the offer phase, cost comparison, profitability, amortization calculations, etc.) regarding different equipment concepts
- Create functional and requirement specifications for internal and external purchasing, also monitor the order processing
- Perform equipment capacity planning
- Carry out coordination and optimization work on starting of new products regarding equipment / prototypes test systems
- Coordinate relevant planning with other departments
- Perform the tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed university degree in technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing field
- Good self-learning skill is essential.
- Good English communication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good at communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrates teamwork, proactivity, a service-oriented approach, a can-do attitude, a pursuit of perfection, realism, solution-focused thinking, and a commitment to self-improvement.
- Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to drive optimal decisions.
- Ability of self-planning and prioritizing activities.
- Experience working in excel.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Plus points:
- Experience in automotive wire harness assembly
- Experience in a multinational company.
- Skilled in technical documentation and leading technical discussions in English.
- Knowledge of KAIZEN, LEAN, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience in testing equipment and tool (test station, test adapter, test unit,...), manufacturing equipment procurement process, SAP system.
