  • Plan, prepare, and implement instructional activities for English Language Arts students in grades 6–12

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be an Oklahoma resident
  • Must come to the office in person 4 days, Monday–Thursday
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Valid Oklahoma Professional Teaching Certificate
  • Mid-level experience
  • Operational knowledge of the Internet and web-related technologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
  • Ability to collaborate on group projects and work as part of a team
  • Responsible, accountable, and self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic
  • Effective prioritizing, organizing, and time-management skills; ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to learn and apply required and recommended DVA computer applications
  • Ability to support DVA core competencies, values, and student-centered behavior expectations
  • Experience with Edgenuity, NEWSELA, Albert IO, IXL, and ACT
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Light physical activities and efforts required while working in an office environment
