About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet schedules
Assist with revenue process and analyze general ledger account balances
Research and post account corrections in accordance with GAAP
Assist the accounts payable and receivable functions
Handle tax payments and returns
Recommend and help develop workflow improvements
Document processes for SOX compliance
Support internal and external audits
Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
1-2 years professional Accounting experience
Experience with Accounting software, such as Intacct
Must be able to work cross-functionally with strong written and verbal communications skills
Organization, attention to detail, and communication are critical to the success of this role
Excellent demonstrable time management skills
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of GAAP
Ability to continually learn and utilize a variety of information systems and software
