About the role
- Provide technical input into project design and review
- Lead and complete process engineering components for scoping, prefeasibility, and feasibility studies
- Understand project requirements related to scope, cost, and schedule
- Coordinate and guide the process engineering team to deliver project objectives
- Develop process engineering deliverables, including test work definitions, design criteria, mass & energy balances, etc.
- Liaise with other discipline engineers to ensure designs conform to process requirements
- Manage process test work
- Oversee the development and implementation of process technology
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mineral Processing
- 15+ years of experience in design, engineering, commissioning, and operation of minerals processing equipment
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Qualified Person per SEC requirements preferred
- Technical knowledge of engineering systems, calculations, and application of engineering methods
- Good working knowledge of computer-aided design tools and simulation programs
- Strong understanding of both organic and inorganic chemistry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands
- Experience in Gold and precious metal sulfide flotation with refractory gold preferred
