About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the quality of critical financial systems by performing end-to-end functional validation, considering the direct business impact;
Design and execute functional test plans and scenarios for complex flows across web, mobile and API applications;
Perform manual and automated functional tests on banking processes (payments, investments, transactions, cards, etc.), identifying inconsistencies and ensuring compliance with business rules;
Test and configure banking APIs, also supporting digital security certification as required;
Use automation strategically to support functional testing, including test data creation, regression execution and repetitive validations (tools such as Selenium, Postman, Cypress, among others);
Validate systems across multiple browsers, devices and environments to ensure delivery robustness;
Monitor release quality, report evidence and support analysis and resolution of production issues;
Liaise continuously with business, development and product teams, demonstrating strong negotiation and communication skills to align expectations and resolve conflicts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Functional QA in regulated and critical products, preferably in the financial sector;
Strong knowledge of functional testing, configuration and API testing (REST, SOAP);
Experience with web and mobile test automation is desirable;
Analytical ability, technical rigor, attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality;
Excellent communication, negotiation and resilience to perform in high-pressure environments and strategic projects;
Experience with automation tools to support functional testing (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Cypress);
Experience in projects involving business areas, with an understanding of financial rules and processes.
