About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, develop and execute automated API tests (REST and GraphQL)
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and tools such as Postman/Newman, RestAssured, Playwright or Cypress
  • Ensure coverage and traceability of functional, integration and regression tests
  • Validate integrations between microservices and components hosted on AWS
  • Support the development team in identifying and fixing bugs from the early stages of the development cycle
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Monitor quality metrics and propose continuous improvements to QA processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with API test automation (Postman, Newman, RestAssured, SuperTest, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript for automation
  • Experience with version control tools (Git) and continuous integration
  • Knowledge of AWS (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.) and cloud environments
  • Experience with automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright or Selenium)
  • Background in functional, regression and integration testing
  • Ability to interpret REST and GraphQL API contracts (Swagger, Postman Collections, OpenAPI)
