Key responsibilities & impact

Join as Senior Structural Engineer to design and analyse structural systems for various projects.
Conduct structural modelling, calculations and analyses using engineering software.
Develop integrated design solutions, ensuring timely completion and exceptional quality.
Deliver complex subsea projects in collaboration with engineering team.
Drive compliance and continuous improvement by aligning with DOF’s high standards.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to smarter, safer project execution.
Engage in a range of projects including mobilization, design of installation aids, rigging design and verification.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
Experienced with FE-analysis software (Ansys or similar)
Experienced with Design software ( Inventor, Autocad and Vault)
Experienced with seafastening of flex-lay spread onboard OCV
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Attention to detail and quality
Senior Structural Engineer (5+ years relevant experience)
Strong background in structural analysis and design, with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges
5+ years of experience with detailed engineering of related to vessel and marine operations
Working knowledge of relevant industry standards (DNV / Eurocode / ABS)
Able to work independently and take ownership in projects
It is also an advantage to have experience with or knowledge of seafastening design, lifting equipment, steel fabrication and ship structures, 2D/3D skills and programming skills such as Python.
