About the role
- Develop world-class marketing analytics that power the marketing team to make informed, insight driven decisions.
- Partner with data engineers, product data and business intelligence teams to create the foundational data structure.
- Equip analyst and marketing teams to focus on analysis that leads to insight and impactful action and not be bogged down with data gathering and organization.
- Build and champion the framework and methodology for efficient marketing data analysis.
- Understand common challenges in data structures and strategies to build data products that are stable, scalable, and performant.
- Lead data quality issue analysis and resolution action plans and governance.
- Work collaboratively and develop relationships with Marketing stakeholder groups to understand business objectives and build data solutions that meet these needs.
- Provides thought leadership for complex problems requiring a data science approach.
- Build scalable dashboards for key marketing KPIs, budget and ROI analysis.
- Drive insight generation and explain the impact of these insights to key business stakeholders.
- Receive and conduct ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests that require data blending from multiple data sources.
- Structure and present analyses to executives and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in statistics, data science, business analytics, marketing analytics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or sales analytics.
- Track record of delivering increased marketing effectiveness with measurable return on investment (ROI) and sales conversion and revenue improvements.
- Advanced analytics capabilities using statistical and business intelligence tools (SQL, Tableau/Power BI/Qlik Sense, Excel all required).
- Experience with data pipeline and warehouse tools - DBT experience required.
- Experience translating technical terms and explaining complex analysis to business stakeholders.
- Experience working with B2B sales motion. (Account-based marketing experience is a bonus.)
- Knowledge of marketing data.
- Experience with analyzing data from Hubspot and Salesforce is particularly desired.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through.
- Insatiable appetite to learn and grow.
- Strong level of business English with proficiency in one or more of Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, or Italian a plus.
