About the role

  • Lead Finance Automation & AI Integration: identify inefficiencies, design and deploy automation solutions to optimize finance workflows.
  • Oversee automation opportunities within finance: assess, prioritize projects and recommend effective solutions.
  • Serve as AI and technology champion within the Finance team: explore AI-driven automation, identify use cases, and present cases to promote AI adoption across Docplanner.
  • Finance SaaS advisor: provide guidance on tools to enable growth and deliver efficiencies, flexibility, accuracy while ensuring legal & statutory compliance.
  • Project leadership: lead/participate in cross-functional initiatives (M&A; business, markets and product launches/changes; New Finance enhancements such as policies and reporting updates).
  • User support, training & documentation: create training materials, conduct workshops, maintain up-to-date documentation, resolve system problems and respond to user inquiries.
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to implement finance systems and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT based Business Administration or equivalent is a must.
  • Master degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance operations, including direct responsibility on finance systems and processes (PTP, OTC, RTR).
  • Tech-savvy (or tech-curious) mindset; willingness to get hands dirty with tech solutions and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focus on system optimization, data integrity, and scalable process improvements.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organised; ability to hold others accountable regardless of role/seniority.
  • Hands-on approach and positive "can do" mindset.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations, prioritize effectively, and lead projects autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Zapier, Make, 8n8 or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of any other group language highly preferred.
  • Work authorization: must already have legal right to work in country of residence; no visa sponsorship.
  • Nice-to-have: NetSuite experience.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with programming languages like Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
  • Nice-to-have: Ability to create dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
