About the role
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of design solutions.
- Continuously iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, data analysis, and industry trends to drive product excellence and innovation.
- Mentor and coach junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and growth within the organization.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices, championing the importance of empathy and user research in the product development process.
- Contribute to the evolution of our products by using and helping improve our design system.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, design tools, and industry trends, applying relevant insights to enhance the user experience and maintain a competitive edge.
- Act as a thought leader within the design community, representing the company through conference presentations, blog posts, or participation in industry events.
- Lead or participate in user testing sessions and usability studies to gather actionable insights and validate design decisions.
- Drive the evolution of the company's design culture by fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and creativity flourishes.
Requirements
- Relevant proven experience in Product Design.
- You are very autonomous and impact driven.
- Experience with Figma and advanced prototyping tools.
- Experience with hypothesis generation, experimentations definition, and AB tests.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams like Product management, research, engineering, data analysts, etc.
- Experience working with data, business KPIs, and success metrics.
- Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to give and receive feedback well, supporting and improving the work of other designers as well as yours.
- Adaptability to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth startup environment.
- Fluency in English.
- You have some experience writing HTML and CSS.
- You can communicate with developers on a technical level.
- Growth mindset: nobody ticks all those boxes above, but willingness to learn is strongly valued here.
- Experience designing for AI products and understanding how to create intuitive AI-driven experiences is a big plus.
- Must have for the application: A portfolio featuring examples of your design work and problem-solving skills.
