About the role

  • Lead operational client reporting initiatives; work with business partners to gather requirements, scope new work, and collaborate with agile technology teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams for reporting initiatives.
  • Perform analysis of business activities to determine functional and technical requirements.
  • Scope new initiatives, define system objectives, and align deliverables with business needs.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on client reporting deliverables and operational impacts.
  • Drive projects independently from requirements through to completion, ensuring business goals are met.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technology professionals to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

  • Perform analysis of business activities to determine functional and technical requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams for reporting initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technology professionals to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Scope new initiatives, define system objectives, and align deliverables with business needs.
  • Formulate and define system requirements based on business needs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on client reporting deliverables and operational impacts.
  • Drive projects independently from requirements through to completion, ensuring business goals are met.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally within asset management or buy-side technology.
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL and database proficiency for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience working with multiple reporting platforms and performing data analysis.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions while considering future-state impacts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion.
  • Background in asset management client reporting or investment operations.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies for business/technology solution delivery.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools.
