Further development and technical maintenance of our existing Laravel applications (PHP 8)
Designing and implementing new features with a focus on maintainability, scalability and clean architecture
Integration of external APIs and software components
Conducting code reviews, including using AI-assisted reviews (e.g. GitHub Copilot, CursorBot)
Active participation in technical decisions – pragmatic, solution-oriented, without overengineering
Close collaboration with product and project management as well as with junior developers and working students

Requirements

Several years of experience in web development, ideally with Laravel and PHP 8
Confident working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS (Vue.js is a plus but not required)
Experienced with Git and pull-request-based workflows
Basic understanding of Linux-based server environments
Experience or interest in automation (e.g. Selenium or similar tools)
A pragmatic senior mindset: you don’t just write code, you think in terms of solutions, context and long-term quality
Openness to AI-assisted development – e.g. using Cursor as an IDE, Copilot for productivity and automated code reviews
