About the role

  • Support the extraction of data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Help organize and structure datasets and databases.
  • Assist the team with maintenance and improvements of the Data Lake environment.
  • Develop and document scripts to automate repetitive tasks related to data processing or analysis.
  • Keep clear and organized documentation of performed activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and projects.
  • Commit to learning new tools, techniques, and programming languages (Python, SQL, Spark, Terraform, etc.).
  • Keep up with trends in Data Science and propose innovations when applicable.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Basic programming knowledge (Python, R, or SQL).
  • Motivated to learn and grow in Data Engineering.
