About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You teach the core learning areas of the E‑Commerce training program.
You provide practical instruction on how to design online assortments, maintain product data, and effectively evaluate marketing measures (SEO/SEA).
You prepare our participants for legal pitfalls — from the GDPR to distance selling law.
You supervise practical projects, assess reports on project-related processes, and provide actionable feedback that genuinely helps participants advance.
You administer interim assessments and guide prospective E‑Commerce professionals through the IHK final examinations (Parts 1 & 2).

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have completed vocational training or a degree in E‑Commerce (Kaufmann/-frau im E‑Commerce) or a comparable commercial qualification with a strong digital focus.
Certification to train apprentices (Ausbildereignung) is desirable for this role.
You have experience training young people or adults.
You can explain complex metrics (KPIs) and technical concepts clearly and motivate a group.
Ideally, you have experience with IHK examination procedures or have served on an examination board.
You are confident working with shop systems and web analytics tools and are comfortable on camera.
Fluent German (minimum C2) & English (B2).
