About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You teach the core learning areas of the E‑Commerce training program.
- You provide practical instruction on how to design online assortments, maintain product data, and effectively evaluate marketing measures (SEO/SEA).
- You prepare our participants for legal pitfalls — from the GDPR to distance selling law.
- You supervise practical projects, assess reports on project-related processes, and provide actionable feedback that genuinely helps participants advance.
- You administer interim assessments and guide prospective E‑Commerce professionals through the IHK final examinations (Parts 1 & 2).
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have completed vocational training or a degree in E‑Commerce (Kaufmann/-frau im E‑Commerce) or a comparable commercial qualification with a strong digital focus.
- Certification to train apprentices (Ausbildereignung) is desirable for this role.
- You have experience training young people or adults.
- You can explain complex metrics (KPIs) and technical concepts clearly and motivate a group.
- Ideally, you have experience with IHK examination procedures or have served on an examination board.
- You are confident working with shop systems and web analytics tools and are comfortable on camera.
- Fluent German (minimum C2) & English (B2).
