Initiating payment runs with appropriate promptness and accuracy
Ensuring timely application of credit notes and prepayments or advances
Seeking approvals for payment batches from business units
Coordinating closely with business units on cash requirements and payment schedules
Working collaboratively with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Set-up, and General Ledger teams
Resolving payment-related issues by liaising with business units, banks, and IT team
Preparing a check monitoring schedule and coordinating with BU Finance or the bank
Ensuring that all scheduled payment runs are finalized prior to month-end closing
Initiating data cleansing activities for supplier and employee records
Updating man-hours based on actual time spent on each process
Supporting project implementations by providing process insights
Assisting in audit processes by gathering documentation requested by auditors

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable or treasury
Work in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition
Proven experience with ERP systems, with preference for familiarity with MFG Pro or Oracle
Practical experience in dealing with various banks and a basic understanding of banking products and services relevant to treasury operations
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google applications
Strong analytical skills to assess payment issues and identify appropriate resolutions with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
