About the role
- Oversee, strategize, and implement the planning, production, and logistics of specific projects
- Work with senior management/sales to understand the project's scope and report progress throughout durations
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards according to company policies and contract specifications
- Work with the project team to define the activities needed to complete the project
- Determine the resources required to complete the project and requisite supplies, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete the project
- Create and review project schedules with senior management and other staff affected by project activities, revising the schedule as needed
- Work with the superintendent and foreman to plan, organize, and direct activities concerning site construction projects
- Discuss matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
- Maintain liaison with clients and other contacts to facilitate project activities
- Monitor and control projects through administrative direction to ensure completion of projects within schedule and budget
- Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures after conferring with senior management
- Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
- Work with the Contract Administrator to manage the financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests and maintaining good relationships with clients and subcontractors/vendors
- Formulate reports concerning work in progress, costs, and scheduling

- College Degree or equivalent
- Trade school training or equivalent
