About the role
- Managing development teams
- As a Product Manager/Product Owner you guide your team within Scrum or Kanban processes.
- You will learn how regular ceremonies — Daily, Refinement, Planning, Grooming, Review, Retrospective — work and what is expected of you as a Product Manager.
- The Product Backlog is the Product Manager/Product Owner’s most important tool.
- You will learn how to write good User Stories and Epics and how to prioritize them effectively in the backlog.
- Once developers have implemented User Stories, they need to be tested and deployed to production.
- You will learn how to perform acceptance testing for software products yourself and how to organize that process.
- A product needs a medium- to long-term strategy.
- With a Product Vision Statement or the Working Backwards method you describe the ideal product from the customers' perspective.
- User-centered software design is central to the success of any digital product.
- You will learn the basics of usability and UX design and receive tools to develop prototypes and communicate with UX designers.
- Monitoring and tracking software products and their features allows you to measure product success and detect early warning signs of issues.
- You will learn how to design, define, and review relevant KPIs and metrics.

- You will be assigned a mentor who guides you through the program and you will simulate working in product teams.
- After three months you can join digital product teams as a certified Product Manager and will understand the responsibilities of a strategic product owner.
